Honeywell Life Care Solutions’ VP of Clinical Services Sara Russell Rodriguez is Panelist at CES 2015 Lifelong Tech Summit
LAS VEGAS – January 5, 2015 – Honeywell Life Care Solutions, a global leader in health management technologies and remote patient monitoring, has announced that its vice president of clinical services, Sara Russell Rodriguez, will be a panelist at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show’s (CES) Lifelong Tech Summit.
Held in The Venetian, Level Two, Bellini 2006, on Tuesday, January 6, the Lifelong Tech Summit it is touted as the forum to examine the technologies and services created with the older adult in mind.
Ms. Russell Rodriguez will participate as one of three panel members in the “Is Technology Smart Enough to Care for Us?” session at 10:30 a.m.The session will also feature Marcus Grindstaff, Vice President, US Sales and Global Market Development, Intel-GE Care Innovations™ and Steven Landers, President and CEO, VNA Health Group, and Eric Taub, a contributing writer at the NY Times, as the moderator. This session is one of several within the “Smarter Everything for a Brilliant Generation”conference track.
Created to explore how technology is now both actively and passively monitoring and caring for us as if we had a doctor living in our own homes, the seminar featuring Ms. Russell Rodriguez will examine the challenges and opportunities around the convergence of long-term care in the “very” smart home.
In addition to her current role with Honeywell Life Care Solutions, Ms. Russell Rodriguez was Vice President, Clinical and Analytical Services for the Benefit Services Group, where she successfully assisted in launching the first commercial narrow network ACO in a major metro market. With more than 15 years of health care experience, Ms. Russell Rodriguez has had multiple leadership roles at the local, state and federal level in public health, including serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer for the CDC and as the chronic disease director for the state of Colorado. Ms. Russell Rodriguez obtained nursing and public health education from Johns Hopkins University, receiving both a MSN and MPH.
